Terri's Home Store. Founded in 1979 in Tempe, Arizona by Terri Bowersock and her mother, Terri borrowed $2,000 from her grandmother and, with her childhood bedroom set and mother's living room set, started Terri's. She continued to build her consignment furnishings stores into a multi-million dollar national consignment chain, with stores coast-to-coast.
