Terri Bowersock has had the honor of being on the boards of directors with many charities during the last 28 years. Terri received the Hon Kachina Award for her charity work. What she learned was that people have a lot of stuff they want to donate but the charities needed cash to help build their homes projects to feed people.
Terri figured that if she could run consignment stores and sell furnishings for other people, why couldn't she do the same thing for charities? So in 2005, she started the idea of "I'm your rent-a-thrift-store." She went to charities and set up programs where people could call to donate. Terri's staff talk to the consignors and schedule a pick up service or drop off location.
